Penarth Town & Accommodation

Penarth Pier Esplanade Penarth Vale Of Glamorgan South Towns & VillagesPenarth is a  Victorian town which became known as the gardens by the sea. The present day town has lots of parks and a number of interesting places to visit. It was recently voted one of the best places to live.  We have one of only two surviving piers in South Wales (recently refurbished) with its own cinema and cafe, and one of the region’s top country parks – Cosmeston Lakes.

Penarth is a great place to get away from all the hustle and bustle of life whilst being within 10 minutes drive of Cardiff City Centre and Cardiff Bay.  You can take a boat across from Penarth to Cardiff Bay to enjoy the fine dining, entertainment at the Millenium Centre (home of the Welsh National Opera) or visit the Welsh Assembly Building.

Getting here:

By Train – 1hr & 50 mins train from London Paddington to Cardiff Central Station and then take a taxi or a local train from there (about 10 minutes) to Penarth Station followed by an easy 5 minute walk to venue.

By Car – take Junction 33 off the M4.

By Air – we are 15 – 20 minutes taxi ride from Cardiff Wales Airport.
